We wanted to share with everyone the excellent job that the
choir students did at UIL. As always, they represented Anderson
very well and we are very proud of them all. Below are the ratings:

We had the highest number of recognized choirs in Region 18 (4 years in a row).
We won more sweepstakes than any other school in AISD (6 years in a row).
We had the first 5A Varsity Men's Choir sweepstakes in Region 18 in
over a decade.
Also, in a non-UIL achievement to report, the Chamber Choir was
selected to perform at the Southwest Symposium of the Music Educators
National Conference in Dallas on June 11. In addition to giving their
own concert, they have been asked to perform at the opening session of
the conference. We are very proud!
The Anderson Choir would like to recognize the following singers

Regional Solo & Ensemble contest in March:

TMEA Region Choir Members (33)
The Anderson Choir Department would like to recognize the 33
members of the Anderson Choir who were selected to the TMEA All-Region Choir.
Anderson had more students selected to the All-region choir than any other
school in Austin ISD and had the second highest number of students selected
from all the high schools in the region.
