Mr. David Beussman
Anderson H. S. Choir Director

Director, David Beussman is currently in his second year as Choir Director at Anderson High School. He has taught middle school choir in the Austin ISD for 12 years (9 at Murchison). He received his Bachelor of Music Degree from Luther College in Decorah, IA where he was a member of the Nordic Choir for three years and studied under Weston Noble. In addition to his teaching at Anderson, he currently serves as TMEA Region 18 President and is Fine Arts Chair at his school. He is also the Assistant Choir Director and Tenor section leader at Lakeway Church in Lakeway, TX. David also directs the wildflower Chorus, a chorus of 40 women singing in the Barbershop style and teaches private voice lessons out of his house to adults in his community. In his free time, he enjoys spending as much of it as possible with his two daughters, Micaela and Amara. David is a member of ACDA, TMEA, and TCDA.
