This is my first attempt, using my updated email list from the info you provided for the choir directory. We are hoping to reach as many choir parents and students as possible. I will still probably have to tweek it some, but hopefully, we are now reaching more of you, with important choir information. Please let me know if there is a problem concerning emails.
1. We need more concessions stand volunteers for this Friday night's Anderson varsity football game. Please email me ASAP, if you are able to help out with this fundraising event for the choir. Students may also work.
We need lots of helpers, so no one has to work too long. Please help out with this if you can! There is also another concessions stand night planned on October 30th.
There are many things that the directors would like to have for the choir program and the Booster club is trying to help provide those things. All this fundraiser takes is some of your time, NO MONEY for once!
So, please come work a shift, help raise money for choir needs and meet some of the other wonderful choir parents!
You get into the football game free if you work!!!
2. Garment, tux and tote bags are in ! They will be handed out sometime next week. We are waiting to get the name tags made for them.
3. Yard signs have been ordered, we anticipate delivery of them early next week. After I receive them, then parent volunteers will deliver them to your home.
4. Join the booster club! We have 57 families who have joined the booster club so far. There are over 130 families in choir. We need everyone's help! The membership committee made it very affordable this year, providing levels from $20 to $250, so a membership level for every budget.
Mr. B told us at the Booster meeting on Saturday, that the District gives him $5 per student for supplies. We would all agree that is not much of a working budget for the directors. That is one reason for the $85.00 Fair Share fee that is collected, to help pay for basic supplies and equipment that they need to keep this excellent program running.
So, that is where the Booster Club comes in. We provide so many extras for the kids. You can imagine how little they would actually have, if Mr. B only had that small amount of money to work with! Fun events like the Meet and Greet Pool Party, Choir Retreat, Senior Celebration, etc. would not happen without the Booster club money and volunteers!
It takes both money and plenty of volunteers to make this all happen!

5. This Friday, SEPT 25th, last day to order SPIRIT ITEMS !
We have some of our "Spirit Items" from Trojan Spirit Fest left over.
We sold them at the Booster Club meeting on Saturday, but realize that many of you were unable to attend, so are giving you an opportunity to purchase them via email.
Both items are available, tax free, for our fund raiser, until Sept 25th. All orders must be received by this FRIDAY, SEPT 25th, to get them without the additional tax added to it.
I am enclosing photos of the 2 items that we are selling ---- one is a very sturdy, heavy duty, reusable grocery/shopping bag. It is royal blue with white AT symbol and the words, "Anderson Trojans" on it.
The other is a very nifty little thing, especially for those of you who travel a lot. It is a royal blue with yellow lettering on it, " GRIP". This grip, is to be used on the handle of your suitcase, band instrument case, etc. It velcros around your handle, and has a place inside it, to include your name and address. It would be a huge help in locating your suitcase on a luggage carousel in an airport! How many other people are going to have an ANDERSON TROJAN one of those ??? NOT MANY, I am betting!
The items are $4.00 each OR enjoy a small price break by purchasing 3 for $10.00. You may "mix and match" them also. ( like 2 grips and one grocery bag, for the $10.00)
